Henshaws
Job: Quarterly What's On Guide
Description: Henshaws is a Yorkshire-based charity that helps local people with impaired sight and disabilities live an independent life in the community. From the Henshaws College to their community housing and the arts and crafts centre, they create a real difference. The charity has a small following of loyal, local donors and their quarterly ‘What’s On’ guide, not only raises awareness and money for the charity but is also an important local community events guide.
Henshaws
Job: Henshaws Newsletters
Description: I produce 2 newsletters for Henshaws - 'Dispatches' that goes out to all supporters of the charity and 'The Buzz' which is an internal communication. Both are designed to show all the news stories from the charity and be engaging and relevant. I have balanced the news stories with images and a bright colour palette to add excitement and pace throughout.
Francis James
Job: Advert for local Tax Magazine
Description: Francis James required an advert to appear in a local tax magazine. They wanted to focus on Property Tax and we worked together to get the main points and objectives in the copy ending with a call to action. I sourced an image for the advert that reflected the brand identity but was not cliché and had a bit of quirkiness to it to set them apart from other adverts focussing on the same subject in the magazine.
Lakeland
Job: Off-the-page Advertising for National Press
Description: The Ramoska advert baffled everyone when sales rose by an all time high when we ran this advert for a cooker in the middle of summer in a one-off media slot in a national Sunday supplement. I used classic off-the-page techniques, combined with an incentive and sold it in as a cooker you could use at home or on the move. The sales increase was people buying the cooker for use in their caravans as it does everything you need, but is still compact. Since then Lakeland sell this product in their catalogue particularly for use in caravans as well as at home.
