Description: Hunkydory is an online shop selling quirky home wares. I produced this catalogue to send out to existing and new customers to sell a range of products available. It had to tie in with the existing website and also work as a template to update with new products on a regular basis. The front cover introduces the 'quirky' element to the brand as well as leading the reader into the catalogue with key products. Within the catalogue the layout is very clean and the products are in sections so that it is easy to read through I also highlighted products that have appeared in magazines or have recommendations to entice the customer.

Mailed quarterly to over 500,000 small to medium sized companies, it guides you through a wide selection of innovative ideas combining value for money and excellence. The B2B catalogue shown here is one of the many jobs I have art directed for BT and shows the use of distinct Direct Marketing techniques whilst keeping the layout clear and concise so that the reader can access the information quickly.

Job: Mail Life - Mail Order Gift Guide
Description: Associated News wanted help in creating their very own mail order brand, Mail Life. The collaboration took the form of this handy Christmas gift guide, which hit the newsstands in late November 2008. The piece uses the power of the Daily Mail brand to endorse and recommend a superb range of quality Christmas gifts for him, her and the kids. All the creative has been driven by a unique combination of traditional mail order and modern brand response marketing, while the publication has been supported with a well planned suite of support emails, direct mail, in-paper advertising and an online store.

Job: National Press Insert
Description: Winning a pitch to the company, I produced a double-fronted, A3 national press insert. One side sold in the benefit of re-upholstering your old sofa and the other, made-to-measure covers. Both methods were sold in with promotions and offers and the proposition that you can revive your old sofa without the expense of buying a new one. I directed the photo shoot to bring lifestyle and personality into the piece and used handwritten comments and an illustrated background to give the communication a friendly, family approach that the Plumbs brand represents.
