Fashion Union
Job: Design for Fashion Catalogue, DM and Website
Description: As part of a pitch I re-branded the company and gave them a new identity that had cut-through in a saturated market. I designed a variety of front covers dependent on what audience they wanted to target, whether it be Unisex or a double-fronted catalogue showcasing men’s fashion from one side and women’s from the other. The spreads show a typical layout using lifestyle imagery to engage and sell off the page. The letter leads people into the catalogue by pulling out special offers and promotions. I also showed how the brand would work online with a website.
Kaleidoscope
Job: DM and Inserts to accompany Main Catalogue
Description: This pack worked with the new Kaleidoscope brand and brought another dimension to the creative, it was desirable and sexy, not just a case of selling hard off the page. It was an image you could help customers buy into. This pack consisted of a 4 page letter/application which used a chatty informal tone of voice and sold in special offers to get the reader into the catalogue and excited about the new season’s styles. There was also a leaflet for customers so that they can spread the cost of their purchases on a simple payment plan and a free gift flyer to uplift response, which I art directed the shoot for.
Lakeland
Job: Off-the-page Advertising for National Press
Description: The Ramoska advert baffled everyone when sales rose by an all time high when we ran this advert for a cooker in the middle of summer in a one-off media slot in a national Sunday supplement. I used classic off-the-page techniques, combined with an incentive and sold it in as a cooker you could use at home or on the move. The sales increase was people buying the cooker for use in their caravans as it does everything you need, but is still compact. Since then Lakeland sell this product in their catalogue particularly for use in caravans as well as at home.
